Description:  Our fitness program will challenge your camper like they have never before been challenged. When they complete our camp successfully, their self image will improve and their confidence will begin to grow so that they can face the challenge of their high school years positively and successfully.

2011 CAMP RESULTS: An initial physical fitness test and body fat assessment was given to 71 campers upon entering the camp and a final test was performed during the campers’ fourth and final week. The following is a compilation of the changes we saw:

 

-The average camper lost 4.7 pounds. Total weight lost was 347.5 pounds!

-Average percent body fat lost per camper was 2.18%.

-The average camper ran a mile 1 minute and 36 seconds faster.

-Average push-ups increased by 24. 

-Average sit-ups increased by 29.

-Average time in the 40-yard dash decreased by 1.68 seconds. (Faster)

-Average time in the T-drill decreased by 2.15 seconds.

-Average bench press repetitions increased by 11.

-Average leg press repetitions increased by 19.

-Average number of pull-ups increased by 2.

-Average increase in vertical jump was 3 inches.

-Average decrease in time to complete the obstacle course was 59 seconds.
